As a 22 year old who had never used shipping companies, I just simply wanted to understand the process and furthermore, there was a language barrier as I’m not from the UK which I explained so many times, yet has no heart to understand. It is within my rights to know all the details especially when I’m paying not a small amount of money and giving my stuff under someone else’s custody. To make it simpler for both of us, I asked if I can loop in my father who is more knowledgeable and he said he would charge me £100 😂 To get such form of abuse, insult and mental stress as a client was out of the world. I treated the owner with nothing but kindness and respect(checked on him when he was sick etc). Yes I may have asked questions repeatedly as I simply couldn’t understand but I don’t know what I did so bad for him to harass me like that. To message my father past midnight to threaten to complaint to my employers proves that he’s a hypocrite. If that’s want he wants to do then please go ahead and do it, I know from my heart that I had nothing but pure intentions. I will happily give my employers number as well if that's the route he wants to go forward; people will seriously laugh at him here in the UAE, because to say that what I did is “abusive and harassing” is truly exaggerated. The only person that is abusive and harassing is Andy and he needs to stop reflecting his insecurities and mental instability on others. If you want to save yourself some peace of mind, avoid ALS world movers and just pay a bit more for another company .

I cannot recommend ALS World Movers enough, and finding them was a blessing. I was moving my family from London to Dubai and had over 200kg of our personal belongings to move. Every other company I spoke to did not fill me with any confidence at all. Step up Andy and Wendy who put my mind at ease by providing an amazingly competitive rate, together with a highly personalised and comprehensive door to door service. Both were extremely professional throughout the process and really felt like it was their own cargo. Just an idea of the empathy you get from ALS.
